Commissioner Roosevelt regrets to hear about Robert Harry Munro Ferguson’s health. Roosevelt recently visited the ranch and had success hunting with a new Winchester rifle. The “political pot is boiling” but Roosevelt expects William Jennings Bryan to lose. He closes with a brief story about a Roosevelt family trip to Lake Champlain.
