Charles J. Bonaparte tells Theodore Roosevelt about Edith Hold Bloodgood, who is active in various societies. She asked Bonaparte to endorse her when she requested Roosevelt to speak for the Holman Society, and while he would have done so he truthfully did not know much about the society. But Bonaparte recently found out William Henry Welch is visiting Roosevelt soon to discuss the Holman Society, and while Bonaparte knows Roosevelt is likely too busy to speak, he hopes he listens to Welch with an open mind.
