Henry C. Stuart has recently sent out pamphlets on finance to several recipients, including Theodore Roosevelt, but recently heard back from one that they had not received it. While he recognizes Roosevelt’s busy schedule and has never received a reply before, he asks now for confirmation that Roosevelt received the pamphlet. Stuart criticizes a political move Roosevelt made trying to “palm [Senator Henry Cabot] Lodge off as an Insurgent” Republican.

Henry G. Walter would like to show Theodore Roosevelt a pamphlet he has produced relating to “a matter of a Sociological Extension Work” and get his opinion on it before it goes to print. He asks Frank Harper to submit the matter to Roosevelt, and offers a character reference if Harper wishes to investigate his personality or intentions.

Letter from Otto H. Kahn to Theodore Roosevelt

Otto H. Kahn sends Theodore Roosevelt a pamphlet for his information. Several newspapers have misquoted or misinterpreted Kahn’s words where he makes reference to Roosevelt, which he wishes to correct by sending the actual document. Kahn states that while he was a friend of Edward Henry Harriman, he never found trouble reconciling this friendship with his admiration for Roosevelt’s policies and administration, and expresses his sadness that Roosevelt took the view of Harriman that he did.
