A. M. Corwin heard that taxidermist Carl Ethan Akeley is in Africa with a fever. Akeley’s condition is serious. Corwin is contacting Henry Fairfield Osborn, the American Museum of Natural History president, to help get Akeley out of Africa. He asks Theodore Roosevelt to contribute to the endeavor.
