Henry Meade Bland sends Theodore Roosevelt a picture showing their mutual friend Jacob A. Riis, along with several authors. Bland additionally has a letter of greeting from Riis for Roosevelt, but is unfortunately unable to deliver it to him in person, as he has been detained by his duties at San Jose Normal School.
