Senator Carter is pleased to hear that Theodore Roosevelt intends to stop and deliver an address in his hometown of Helena, Montana, on his way home from his trip to the Pacific Coast next year. Although Carter will not be there, he invites Roosevelt to visit the Montana Club. He asks Roosevelt to advise him of the topic of his address to help in advertising the event.
