Senator Proctor suggests that President Roosevelt bring his sons to Vermont where they might take a yacht up the East Coast. Proctor describes the troubles his son Fletcher D. Proctor has encountered in the Vermont gubernatorial race, but also suggests that it would be best if Roosevelt did not intervene.
