Theodore Roosevelt played a small role in getting Mr. Homer’s son a railroad position and last he heard the boy was doing well. He cannot contribute to a movement to get a “stone” for Homer as he receives too many similar requests and cannot choose one over another. Roosevelt wishes he had met Mrs. A. W. Nicholson’s son.
