Assistant Secretary of the Navy Roosevelt writes to book publishers Houghton, Mifflin and Co. that the proposed 5% on the retail price for the subscription volumes is fine with him. At the bottom of the letter, someone has written that this refers to Roosevelt’s books Thomas Hart Benton and Gouverneur Morris.
