Theodore Roosevelt writes to James H. Pound, his lawyer, to discuss his upcoming libel case against George A. Newett. Roosevelt proposes several character witnesses to establish his sobriety and character and asks Pound if he needs to be in Michigan for the trial at the end of the month.
