Basil Wilson Duke is disappointed that William O’Connell Bradley and John Watson Yerkes could not come to an agreement regarding Republican Party leadership in Kentucky. There is little chance of Republican success in Kentucky until they can “act more harmoniously.” However, Duke is still confident that a Roosevelt delegation can be sent from Kentucky.

Bradley suggests there is political corruption there at the hands of Charles Earl Sapp. He includes a handwritten note stating that the convention adopted a resolution endorsing Roosevelt for a second term as President.
