Thomas Worthington encloses a prepared interview given out by the chairman of the State Central Committee of Illinois that presumes on President Roosevelt’s friendliness to Governor Richard Yates and the future distribution of federal patronage in the state. Worthington also encloses a letter to Roosevelt, wishing his administration success.
