Gooding elected Governor of Idaho is a big victory over “those Western Federation of Miners scoundrels.”

If sympathetic strikes occur across the state, the federal government will likely need to intervene. Crowder reviews the history of the strike and summarizes the conditions during his inquiry. William A. Pinkerton delivers a case update to Governor Gooding on Agent 21’s investigation into the assassination of Governor Frank Steunenberg. He worked with Mr. Barber and a man identified as Border and others as they traveled to other precincts to work. Union members were freely giving information to other agents of the investigation without realizing who they were. Agent 21 retired at 10:30 PM after his meetings had ended.
