Letter from Francis Wilson to Theodore Roosevelt
Francis Wilson sends “Volume I” for President Roosevelt’s inscription. He thanks Roosevelt for his words about Wainwright, with regard to a “maritime pyrotechnic struggle.” Wilson is probably referring to Rear Admiral Richard Wainwright and the sinking of the USS Maine.
