Booker T. Washington offers suggestions for appointments in Mississippi. He supports Edgar S. Wilson, Register in Jackson, as Marshal of the Southern District of Mississippi. The current Marshal could then become Register. He also supports Isaiah T. Montgomery for Receiver of Public Moneys.
