Letter from the Tariff Committee to the Executive Committee of the National Association for Agricultural Implement and Vehicle Manufacturers
The Tariff Committee sends their report on the effect of tariffs on their industry to the Executive Committee. The Tariff Committee states the tariffs on cattle hides, steel, and lumber are the most detrimental to their business as well as unnecessary for the continued success of the supplying industries. The Tariff Committee recommends removing trusts and tariffs and working to secure reciprocity on these goods with Canada. The Tariff Committee believes these measures are vital to protecting American manufacturing and the American wage.
