Ethel Roosevelt Derby’s husband, Richard Derby, is also eager to be involved with the war, and Eleanor Butler Roosevelt will soon leave for France to do work with the Y.M.C.A.

A book made for Theodore Roosevelt Jr.’s memorial service at Christ Church in Oyster Bay, New York. It includes sermons from his memorial service, articles written about his death and a citation from the President of the United States. Book is printed on handmade paper at Merchant Marine Rest Center Paper Mill, and from two army shirts worn by Roosevelt Jr.

Roosevelt.” Bruce asks that someone from the Roosevelt family look over the proofs to determine if “Capt. So and So” mentioned in Kelly’s notes was Captain Archie Butt.
