McClelland to the Board of General Appraisers, but these appointments do not harm Brown’s interests and he continues to enthusiastically support Roosevelt.

Flanagan does predict that there may be some difficulty from the Eighth Congressional District, because one of the possible delegates is discontented at not being reappointed Postmaster, but he hopes to be able to muster a unified delegation from Texas who are all enthusiastically in favor for Roosevelt.
