Amelia M. Starkweather has sent a copy of her book, Tomtits and Other Bits, for President Roosevelt’s and Edith Kermit Carow’s children. Starkweather recounts the story of the time she met Roosevelt and his wife in Chautauqua, New York during his time as governor.
