Letter from John W. Donovan to Theodore Roosevelt
John W. Donovan congratulates President Roosevelt on assuming the presidency in the wake of William McKinley’s death, and apologizes for not writing sooner. He hopes that Roosevelt will have a successful presidency. Donovan sends Roosevelt a token from his wife, and asks if Roosevelt has a picture of his son, Theodore Roosevelt, that he could send to Donovan.
