Letter from Theodore Roosevelt to R. A. Alger
Assistant Secretary of Navy Roosevelt forwards a letter from Arthur Erwin Brown to Secretary of War Alger. Roosevelt vouches for Brown’s credentials as director of the Philadelphia Zoological Park and member of the Boone and Crockett Club, and explains that he is interested in making sure Colonel S. B. M. Young retains his present position as Commandant of Yellowstone National Park.
