George LeRoy Brown sends Theodore Roosevelt the results of last year’s work. He enjoys reading, especially The Outlook. Colonel Alexander O. Brodie’s son, Alexander O. “Sandy” Brodie, is one of Brown’s cadets and often joins him on his daily rides. His wife, Mary W. Brown, also admires The Outlook and Lyman Abbott.

He also sends two copies of his paper, Voice of the People. He hopes Roosevelt can help before the vote for Arizona’s statehood on August 7, especially since President William H. Taft’s administration proposes to betray Arizona again.

William J. Youngs sends Theodore Roosevelt a copy of The Atlantic with an article on the Supreme Court and states that he heard that Vaughn will send The Forum with an article on the National Constitutional Convention. Judge Thomas I. Chatfield is holding a class for naturalization and hopes Roosevelt can attend. Finally, Youngs expresses his appreciation of getting to see Roosevelt and Edith Kermit Carow Roosevelt and sends his regards to the Roosevelt family.
