Letter from Henry Cabot Lodge to Theodore Roosevelt
Senator Lodge informs President Roosevelt that Robert Wilson Patterson, editor-in-chief of the Chicago Tribune, is in town and would appreciate being able to see Roosevelt, although he does not want to intrude on Roosevelt’s schedule. Patterson reports that “all factions & sides” in Illinois were for Roosevelt, and commented further on other Illinois political contests.
