After light was shed on the truth behind the corruption of Tammany Hall in New York, Samuel Meadow would like to know how The World plans to correct the media damage done to the New York State government, its own political reputation, and the reputation of Theodore Roosevelt, who first called out Tammany but was disregarded. Meadow sent a similar message to The Evening Post.
