Joseph A. Ferris states that the auditor position has nothing to do with Stark County, North Dakota, and the salary is around $1,000 per year based on the valuation of Billings County, North Dakota. Sylvane M. Ferris never spoke to Senator Porter J. McCumber because Alexander McKenzie claimed he would handle the matter. Ferris thanks William Loeb and President Roosevelt for their assistance.

The Civilian Conservation Corp job record #172 is in regard to an Emergency Relief Administration (ERA) project to install culverts outside the park boundary near the southern unit of the Roosevelt Recreational Demonstration Area (SP-8) in western North Dakota. The project was converted from an ERA project to the Civilian Conservation Corps to construct culverts on behalf of Billings County, North Dakota. Administrative and job documentation attached.
