T. Gilbert Pearson, Secretary of the National Audubon Society, urges readers of his pamphlet to work against a bill currently in the New York Legislature which would allow for the sale of plumage of many birds that have historically been protected. Pearson urges letters to be written protesting the bill in order to drive opposition in the New York Assembly.
