Donovan gave no interview on the subject, though it seems that some newspapers have published the story as if he had. He hopes Roosevelt is not offended that the newspapers learned of it.

Roosevelt explains Arthur Donovan’s boxing career and his qualifications and believes that he will be as good as some of the agents who protected him, including Frank H. Tyree, Stephen A. Connell, and James E. Sloan.
