Letter from John Burroughs to Theodore Roosevelt
John Burroughs would like to introduce Theodore Roosevelt to Jeanette Thurber, the president and founder of the National Conservatory of Music of America. Thurber believes that the United States should cultivate its own unique music, an enterprise Burroughs expects would appeal to Roosevelt.
