Theodore Roosevelt writes to his sister Anna Roosevelt about his wife Edith’s miscarriage. He blames it on the stress that his fall in a recent polo match caused Edith. Because of this, Roosevelt is delaying, or may even cancel, his trip West. A storm took the roof of the bathing houses.
