President Roosevelt is pleased to hear about Major Llewellyn’s work and the news about his son, Morgan Llewellyn, going with John Campbell Greenway. Regarding the water boundary commission, Roosevelt writes that no one was willing to speak out against General Anson Mills, and he was favoured by the Mexican authorities. In response to the other situation, Roosevelt will attempt to find employment for Llewellyn.

Fairlamb to provide transportation and make Pullman reservations, billing Ferguson’s share to himself and Kermit’s share to President Roosevelt at Oyster Bay. A canceled version of this letter was written by Thomas H. Netherland the previous day.

Letter from John Campbell Greenway to Theodore Roosevelt

Mining executive John Campbell Greenway sends President Roosevelt the correspondence between citizens of Bovey and Coleraine and Minnesota Governor John Albert Johnson during the recent strike of the Western Federation of Miners. Greenway believes these cities are the first to condemn the federation as “a criminal organization committed to anarchy,” to which Johnson failed to respond.

Hoolihan, and ask Governor Johnson to support Hoolihan and issue a statement regarding his position on “organizations flaunting the red flag of anarchy” in Minnesota.
