She believes her brother will refuse such a request. She asks if he will dine with them on Sunday when Edith Kermit Carow Roosevelt is away, and if he prefers to eat alone or with friends.

She would like to have Esme Howard and Isabella Giovanna Teresa Giochina Howard, as well as Major Fournier, and asks if Roosevelt would have William Loeb let her know if she should ask them herself. She enjoys the company of the Howards and Fournier.
