Roosevelt has been busy, including composing speeches and playing tennis with Ambassador J. J. Jusserand. Quentin Roosevelt hurt his knee playing football but has had some success with tennis. Quentin also reluctantly joined Edith Kermit Carow Roosevelt for a picnic.
