The Civilian Conservation Corp job record #13 is in regard to a yearlong tree disease control project in the northern unit of the Roosevelt Recreational Demonstration Area (SP-7) in western North Dakota. Squaw Creek campground contains numerous cedar trees suffering from Witches’ Brooms; specimen study documentation is attached.

John H. Hutton provides short answers to questions about the six months he spent in the Civilian Conservation Corps stationed near Watford City, North Dakota. Hutton does provide the names of supervisors and fellow CCC alumni, but the majority of his answers are fairly limited.

Wickware, Superintendent of Theodore Roosevelt National Park, writes a form letter that was sent to alumni of the Civilian Conservation Corps companies stationed near Medora and Watford City, North Dakota. Wickware invites them to a recognition program to be held at the park and provides details about the upcoming reunion being planned by some Corps alumni.
