John Campbell Greenway has investigated Hans P. Hansen, and feels that he is deserving of charity, although he fears that President Roosevelt likely hears many similar requests. Greenway tells William Loeb that he believes that Michigan will be solidly in the Republican camp for the upcoming election. He asks Loeb to use his influence with Roosevelt to have Roosevelt visit Ishpeming, Michigan, sometime in the coming year.
