Letter from Theodore Roosevelt to John Campbell Greenway

President Roosevelt is looking for people in Arkansas who will tell him “without partisan prejudices whether a candidate is a good one, whether there is a better man to be found, and which of any given number of supplicants is the best,” and asks John Campbell Greenway to forward this letter to his father, Gilbert Christian Greenway, in the hope that he will be able to provide such assistance.

Letter from Arsene Perrilliat to John Campbell Greenway

Arsene Perrilliat is glad he was able to provide assistance with the recovery of the body of John Campbell Greenway’s nephew. However, Greenway deserves the majority of the credit for the recovery. The expenses for the recovery efforts were minimal and a bill was sent to Gilbert Christian Greenway.

Letter from John Campbell Greenway to Theodore Roosevelt

John Campbell Greenway’s father has received President Roosevelt’s letter and is willing to help in Roosevelt’s “efforts for clean government.” Greenway may be able to visit the White House when he travels to New Haven, Connecticut, for the bicentennial celebration.
