Following President Roosevelt’s instructions, Secretary of State John Hay has prepared a letter of condolence on the recent death of Georg, King of Saxony, to be sent to German Ambassador Hermann Speck von Sternburg. Hay sends this letter to William Loeb, for Roosevelt to sign.
