In his letter to Roosevelt, Ellison says he heard Roosevelt is interested in joining a Freemason Lodge on Long Island. Roosevelt says this is not true.
William Loeb informs Walter Franklin that Theodore Roosevelt will not be able to attend a meeting of the Matinecock Lodge. Loeb encloses a check for Roosevelt’s dues.
