Theodore Roosevelt informs Alfred L. M. Gottschalk that he is sending over the sheet exactly as requested. He thanks Gottschalk for giving him the opportunity to write the statement in language he thinks is exact to the situation. Roosevelt points out that he has substituted two sentences for two of Gottschalk’s that he has struck out, leaving the last two sentences unchanged.
