Herman Wronkow, a real estate investor in New York, requests President Roosevelt to be an executor of his will. Wronkow previously contacted Roosevelt because he had purchased the brownstone where Roosevelt was born, at 28 East 20th Street. Wronkow mentions that he is a Civil War veteran, of the Third Georgia Regiment.
