Letter from Theodore Roosevelt to Paul Morton
President Roosevelt requests that Paul Morton visit him at his home at Sagamore Hill. There are a number of things Roosevelt would like to discuss, largely in connection with the Equitable Life Insurance Society.

Paul Morton had until recently served as Secretary of the Navy, holding that office from July 1, 1904 to June 30, 1905. He then returned to private business, becoming president of the Equitable Life Assurance Society.
