Republican National Committee Chairman Cortelyou informs William Loeb that he just received a telegram from Charles M. Hays, editor of the Chicago Daily News, saying he knows who first published the Michael Donnelly letter with President Roosevelt’s name. Cortelyou told Hays to inform Roosevelt directly.
