This photograph of Barbara Elizabeth Mixson, daughter of the Civilian Conservation Corps commander, was taken on a bed in the North Unit of the Roosevelt Recreation Demonstration Area. The photograph is part of a three-binder set of pictures taken by Chandler D. Fairbank, Civilian Conservation Corps North Unit foreman at the Roosevelt Recreation Demonstration Area, taken between 1936 and 1937.

Harrison, Lord Byron, Jack Raftery, and of himself. McGaffey also announces the birth of his daughter, Lenore Louise, and mentions reading Roosevelt’s books Ranch Life and the Hunting Trail and Hunting Trips of a Ranchman.
