Theodore Roosevelt writes to his sister Anna describing how he has met several people his sister has told him about. Some of the girls he has met are very pretty, but he is still loyal to Edith Kermit Carow. He also describes his upcoming week at school, how the coals have burned holes in his rug, and where he attended dinner this week.

Theodore Roosevelt writes to his sister Anna describing his week. He and Harry Shaw went to tableaux, he also went to the theater, and went to a family friend’s to visit. The food at his new boarding house is very good and there is a possibility he may be home for a short Easter vacation. Roosevelt also asks his sister to send a few items to him.

Theodore Roosevelt writes to his sister Anna saying he finally received the things he had asked to be sent from home. He enjoys his room very much but does not like the way the washerwoman does his cravats. He describes a dinner at the Thayer’s and is doing alright in his studies.

Theodore Roosevelt thanks his father for sending the petition that will allow him to attend church. The bag and clock have arrived but he will need several more books and the key to his bookcase. His room appears comfortable with the pictures hung and the knickknacks placed. Roosevelt attended a football game between the freshman team and Adams Academy. His studies are going well except the class “Theory of Determinants.”

Theodore Roosevelt has received his books and packages. He is not pleased with the food and intends to join a “table with some of the Boston men.” Roosevelt has also paid the next half year’s rent. He provides a sketch of his room and outlines his schedule. He recently purchased his winter clothing, except for an afternoon coat, and has been wearing his mother’s slippers.

Theodore Roosevelt arrived back at his room after a tedious journey and spent the evening studying. He was not able to go to church due to the horrible weather. In the afternoon, his “things” arrived and he fixed up his room. Roosevelt was pleased that his ornaments had “suffered very little.”

Theodore Roosevelt has arrived in Cambridge, Massachusetts with his room in order and a fire in the hearth. The squab sandwich was delicious.

Theodore Roosevelt is pleased with his room in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and will start his work on Monday. He requests the valise, papers, and inkstand as soon as possible. If he can borrow a bag, he will spend next Sunday with H. D. Minot.
