Letter from Theodore Roosevelt to Mary Pattinson

Theodore Roosevelt agrees with the sentiments expressed by Mary Pattinson, namely the need for the Progressive Party to develop new methods, distinct from the old Republican and Democratic party. The Progressive party should continue to advocate for civic education and work to create a coalition of both men and women. Roosevelt tells Pattinson that he will pass her letter along to the rest of the party.

Following trials of many offenders, a report is published on the causes of the corruption and recommendations made on how to prevent municipal corruption in the future.
