As of right now he would not rejoin in New York, but would rejoin in Pennsylvania to support specific candidates.

Lodge requests that Roosevelt seriously consider appointing the Atlantic Fleet’s second in command to operate the fleet in the event of Rear Admiral Robley D. Evans’s retirement.

Organized labor is making for difficult races in New York and Massachusetts, and while Lodge believes that the Republican Party will succeed in carrying the House of Representatives, he is nervous about those two states.
