Letter from Richard R. Riedel to Theodore Roosevelt
Reverend Richard R. Riedel encloses a statement on the Central Union Mission. He describes the work of the organization as making “it safe for the business man, the capitalist, and the retired citizen to live and toil” and redeeming the fallen so they will not “become an ulcer on the body politic.” Riedel asks for President Roosevelt’s assistance and offers to meet with him.
