Walter S. Wilson, Treasurer of the Veterans of the New York Athletic Club group, writes to William Loeb to apologize for the membership bill that was sent to President Roosevelt in error. Roosevelt is an honorary member and is not to be billed.

New York Representative Parsons has investigated the Lakerim Athletic Club and found that it is not a well known club, with Tammany Hall affiliations. For these reasons Parsons does not think President Theodore Roosevelt should accept an honorary membership in it.
