Theodore Roosevelt first day cover envelope and stamp

First day cover envelope authorized by the American Stamp Dealers Association and postmarked in New York, New York, on November 18, 1955. The six cent stamp is carmine with an illustration of Theodore Roosevelt and is part of the 1954-1968 Liberty Series. On the left of the envelope is a black ink illustration of Theodore Roosevelt and, to the lower right of the portrait, a battle scene with cavalry and artillery.
