Theodore Roosevelt writes a letter of recommendation for Regis Henri Post. At the top, Post has written that he took the letter abroad in 1917 to work with the Red Cross.

Theodore Roosevelt tenders his resignation to the president of the National History Society as his studies and duties in other societies leave him unable to properly fulfill his duties for this society. Exact date of letter is unknown but an enclosure indicates it was probably during Roosevelt’s senior year at Harvard 1879-1880.
