President Roosevelt sends Henry G. Stott, president of the American Institute of Electrical Engineers, an invitation to a conference of governors he is hosting on conservation of natural resources. It was suggested to Roosevelt that, in addition to inviting the governors of the various states, that he also invite various national organizations to be involved in the conference to discuss how to conserve the nation’s resources.
